Job Description

-Working with local and foreign EPC, oil & gas, petrochemicals and refineries companies and their lawyers and other advisors to assess legal issues, provide advice and develop solutions -Drafting energy sector (Upstream and Downstream) and EPC contracts and legal documents in English and Farsi -Reviewing, commenting on and negotiating English language legal documents -Performing extensive legal research and analysis in energy law and EPC. -Uploading legal opinions and advisories in oil and gas and electricity databases -Preparing written legal advice and memos for oil and gas clients in Farsi and English -Preparing legal updates and bulletins for clients in English -Translating legal materials from English to Farsi and vice versa -Attending meetings in English and Farsi -Representing clients before the Iranian courts and arbitration fora

Requirements

-Master's degree or higher in Law -At least 3 years’ relevant experience with law firm (energy sector) or oil and gas or EPC in-house involving corporate advisory works -Organized and committed to meeting deadlines -Familiar with energy law practices (upstream and downstream) and EPC -Strong writing and verbal skills are required (verbal and written) -Good command of computer skills (Excel, word and outlook) Strong negotiation skills -Having experience working in an international environment •Key Competencies -Client-centered approach to legal representation -Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment -Great interpersonal and verbal communication skills -Excellent analytic and writing skills, and ability to construct cogent arguments -Honed organizational skills and the ability to prioritize cases -Demonstrated commitment to code of ethics and conflict of interest policy
