Job Description
Main objective:
● Responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
● Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets.
● Guide, counsel motivate and develop sales team.
● Allocate responsibilities to ensure optimal performance, recommend promotions based on performance, build harmonious field relations in order to ensure no loss of man days.
Main responsibilities:
Annual business planning and achievement.
● Collate, review and submit market feedback.
● Analyze sales data, participate and assist in preparation of sales and marketing plan.
● Develop regional business plan in order to drive therapy area sales, profits and ensure the optimization of resources to achieve the target.
Sales, profits collections:
● Sell regional budgets to field force, implement business plans, monitor collections, set targets for achievements of sales &profit &build a performance driven team.
People management:
● Guide, counsel motivate and develop DSM team.
● Allocate responsibilities to ensure optimal performance, recommend promotions based on performance, build harmonious field relations in order to ensure no loss of man days.
External relations:
● Liaise with distributor, retailers, negotiate with trade associations to resolve issues.
● Develop and maintain relationship with the medical community & KOLs in order to foster productive working relationship and promote company brands and image.
● Ensure minimum 7 full field working days' work in a month and meet key doctors and pharmacies in region and develop relationship.
System and value management:
● Monitor and execute practices for ethical sales and marketing. resolve issues in order to maintain corporate image.
● Ensure to imbibe PERFORMER behavior in every team member. follow up on individual and team action plan.
Sales planning support:
● Submit product wise estimate /rolling sales plan every month to distribution department in order to ensure availability of stocks at the right time and right place.
Channel management:
● Supervise and monitor customer service, smooth functioning of distributor order processing.
Discipline:
● Guide, monitor &supervise field staff, liaise with corporate HR and conduct disciplinary action where necessary, resolve grievances in order to ensure harmonious field relationship.
