Job Description

The objective of the role: We are currently looking for an HR specialist. This position is primarily responsible for implementing the overall labor strategy, resolving labor and employee relations matters, and building cooperative relationships with the labor union leadership. The HR specialist will manage various human resources, employee relations, and labor relations efforts for the facility, including contract administration, contract interpretation, grievance processing, arbitration preparation, letters of agreement, negotiation preparation, and negotiation coordination. List of responsibilities: The HR specialist will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, including owning a number of different personnel-related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources-related activities, policies, processes, and procedures - specifically leave of absence. The HR Specialist will be responsible for the day to day administration within the HR department, including new hire processing/drug screening, facilitation of orientation and guest service training, managing the employee information system to include data entry and reports, upkeep of all employee files/records retention, and employment verifications. HR Expert: ● Support local recruiting and outreach efforts in coordination with the centralized recruiting team to meet or exceed monthly and annual recruiting targets in the most efficient and effective manner possible. ● Ensure a positive candidate and hiring manager experience. ● Assist in the administration and/ or tracking of employee development training. ● Engage employees and resolves issues expediently, with professionalism and tact. ● Escalate concerns as appropriate. ● Perform employee onboarding to include data entry into the HR Information system and new employee orientation. ● Ensure data entered is complete and accurate and employees have a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures, including the information included in the employee handbook. ● Resolve employee personnel inquiries and submits necessary inputs, changes, additions, and deletions into the HR information system. ● Report unusual or unresolved problems to the HR Manager for further action. ● Maintain records of insurance coverage, retirement plans, and personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and other related personnel and payroll issues. ● Attend hearings as the HR representative. ● Compile information to file workers’ compensation claims for employees and for the insurance carrier. ● Prepare routine and special reports by conducting necessary analysis of trends and identifying problem areas where the margin for error is small and the level of importance is high. ● Provide necessary referral support for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). ● Perform other duties as assigned. ● Reporting to: Managing Director. ● Probation period: 3 Months. ● Working hours: Saturday to Wednesday from 08:00 am to 17 pm.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Psychology, related education in HR. ● Any certificate related to HR can help to get the job position. ● 3 to 5 years of experience. ● Teamwork spirit. ● Adaptability. ● Communications skills.
