About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our client’s Human Resources Services organization. The CEO will define and execute the organization's strategic direction, strengthen key stakeholder relationships, and foster a high-performance culture. This role requires a proven executive with strong strategic, operational, and stakeholder management skills, as well as a track record of driving organizational excellence and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Corporate Direction
• Define and execute the organization's long-term vision, strategy, and business objectives in alignment with Board expectations.
• Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that support sustainable growth, operational excellence, and organizational effectiveness.
• Continuously assess market trends, industry developments, and emerging opportunities to strengthen the organization's competitive position.
Stakeholder Management & Executive Relations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Board members, senior executives, client organizations, and other key stakeholders.
• Lead executive-level negotiations and foster strategic partnerships to strengthen collaboration and maximize organizational value.
• Address critical business challenges and ensure timely resolution of strategic and operational issues.
Service Excellence & Operational Oversight
• Oversee the delivery of integrated HR services and ensure achievement of agreed service commitments and organizational objectives.
• Monitor organizational performance through KPIs, dashboards, and operational metrics, ensuring timely interventions when necessary.
• Ensure service quality, process effectiveness, and continuous improvement across all functional areas.
• Promote collaboration across teams to ensure seamless, customer-focused service delivery.
Financial Stewardship & Resource Optimization
• Provide overall leadership for financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, and resource allocation.
• Ensure the organization's financial sustainability through effective cost management and prudent utilization of resources.
• Monitor financial and operational performance to ensure achievement of strategic and business targets.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvement, value creation, and long-term organizational growth.
Leadership, Culture & Organizational Development
• Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing executive and management team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Drive talent development, succession planning, and leadership capability building across the organization.
• Lead organizational change initiatives and effectively manage complexity, ambiguity, and organizational challenges.
Governance, Performance & Board Reporting
• Ensure sound corporate governance practices and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Establish performance management frameworks and monitor progress against strategic objectives and service commitments.
• Provide regular reports and strategic insights to the Board regarding organizational performance, financial status, risks, and opportunities.
• Support evidence-based decision-making through executive reporting and performance analytics.
What You Bring
• Proven executive leadership experience as a Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, General Manager, or in a comparable senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience leading service-oriented organizations, shared services environments, or human resources businesses.
• Strong track record in strategic leadership, organizational transformation, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong financial and business acumen, including budgeting, performance management, and resource optimization.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and building high-performance organizational cultures.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills, with experience leading effectively in complex and dynamic environments.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, or a related field is preferred.
