Position Title: CEO Advisor – Steel Industry
Job Description & Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert advisory support to the CEO on matters related to steel production, operations, business development, and strategic investments.
Analyze the performance of production facilities and recommend initiatives to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance profitability.
Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the company's strategic and operational plans.
Evaluate expansion projects, investment opportunities, and new business ventures across the steel value chain.
Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prepare executive reports and recommendations for the CEO.
Identify operational, technical, and managerial bottlenecks and propose effective corrective actions.
Collaborate with senior management across operations, commercial, finance, human resources, and project functions.
Monitor developments in the steel industry, domestic and international markets, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
Support technical and commercial negotiations with customers, suppliers, consultants, and investors.
Prepare feasibility studies, strategic assessments, and business analyses for development and investment projects.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage).
Minimum 15 years of experience in the steel industry.
Minimum 10 years of managerial experience in positions such as CEO, Plant Manager, Operations Manager, Production Manager, Technical Manager, or similar senior leadership roles.
Comprehensive knowledge of the steel value chain, from raw materials to finished products.
Strong understanding of steelmaking, casting, rolling, quality control, and maintenance processes.
Proven ability to evaluate operational, financial, and economic aspects of industrial projects and expansion initiatives.
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, HSE standards, productivity improvement methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret business and operational data and provide strategic recommendations.
Excellent report-writing, presentation, and executive communication skills.
Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-support capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with ERP systems and data analytics tools is preferred.
