Job Description
● Plan and perform repair and maintenance operations at the customer's site or the company's service center.
● Install, assemble, disassemble, and operate CAT equipment, including engines, power systems, earth-moving equipment, and other electrical or mechanical equipment.
● Communicate with the customers for required spare parts.
● Implement operating procedures.
● Resolve system malfunctions, and manage and assist in the maintenance of equipment.
● Troubleshoot and investigate equipment failures to diagnose faults.
● Specify equipment components to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
● Test the performance and safety of equipment and components upon receipt and after service.
● Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, instructions, or technical reports.
● Interpret English technical specifications extracted from specialized software.
● Adhere to health and safety procedures and follow standard operating procedures.
● Do other relevant duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or manager.
● Responsible for the repair, maintenance, and operation of CAT equipment.
● Prepare customer repair quotations.
● Prepare schedules for service personnel and assign staff to work orders, according to technicians’ knowledge, experience, and capabilities.
