Job Description

As a senior HR generalist at AGF, you will play a crucial role. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, contributing to the overall success and well-being of our employees and the organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the recruitment and onboarding process, from job posting to new hire orientation.
  • Conducting performance management, providing feedback, and facilitating professional development.
  • Overseeing employee relations, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Managing benefits administration and ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations.
  • Collaborating with department heads to address HR-related challenges and opportunities.
  • Assisting with HR policy development, updating the employee handbook, and welfare procedure, and ensuring adherence to policies.
  • Preparing needed HR insights reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related field (a Master’s degree or PHRi is a plus).
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on HR generalist roles.
  • Experience in the petrochemical, oil, and gas industry is a must.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Proven ability to work with confidential information in a professional and discreet manner.
