Job Description
Medical Sales Manager
● Achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within assigned accounts and/or market segments by effectively selling the company's products and/or related services.
● Supervise the activities of the field sales group in order to achieve annual sales volume objectives while remaining within an agreed cost budget and respecting ethical guidelines defined by the company.
● Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or performing services for customers.
● Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service
● Instruct staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales.
● Resolve complaints regarding sales and service.
● Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.
● Determine price schedules and discount rates.
● Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
● Determine call plan.
● Regular visits to physicians and pharmacies to monitor product availability and movement.
● Monitor and increase sales of assigned products.
● Apply territory planning to get the maximum use of time and best area coverage for both doctors and pharmacists.
