Job Description

The process engineer is responsible for reviewing, commenting, and if necessary, executing engineering studies, developing process concepts, conducting front-end engineering design (feed) and detailed engineering activities for modifications to onshore/offshore processing facilities, refinery packages, petrochemical packages, and other related package skids like gas processing, modular packages and so on. The candidate must have complete knowledge of the processes available in all types of petrochemicals and value chains of the petrochemical industry including olefin-producing, methanol, propylene, ethylene, PDH, PP, LDPE, HDPE, and so on. We need an engineer with experience in oil and gas, hydrocarbon refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries having engineering design project experience.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for monitoring process design of Oil and Gas upstream, downstream, refining, and petrochemical design for feed and detail design phases.
• Responsible for reviewing the reports received in the field of license, catalysts and in general basic and detailed engineering in the petrochemical and the Oil and Gas industry.
• Revise and check engineering deliverables against company procedures, standards, and checklists.
• Supervise engineering work being produced by other companies.
• Go for site visits and verify site conditions and markup drawings/perform as-built activities.
• Technical report writing and preparation of presentations.
• Technical bid evaluation, vendor document review, and subcontract scope management.
• Create presentations using graphs, diagrams, and other exhibits to illustrate process maps of projects.
• Prepare and maintain project forecasts and status updates related to engineering parts.
• Provide assessment with corrective action recommendations to management.
• Prepare minutes of meetings related to project engineering and technical meetings and follow up on tasks.
• Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to others in the resolution of project technical and engineering problems.
• Perform other functions associated with this position as appropriate.
