Job Description
- Work within a 3D model to produce project-specific documents.
- Develop piping material specifications.
- Perform pipe wall thickness calculations and piping stress computer analysis.
- Preparing and reviewing calculations, drawings, specifications, plans, and requisitions of structures, systems, and equipment.
- Reviewing design documents from equipment suppliers.
- Compiling, evaluating, correlating, and analyzing data.
- Performing routine quantity takeoffs.
- Design criteria documents and change packages.
- Performing calculations and preliminary analysis to evaluate results.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of engineering experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- Familiarity with 3D piping soft wares PDMS, ED3.
- Familiarity with stress analysis knowledge and Caesar II.
- Knowledge of industry standards ASME, ASTM, API, etc.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
- Familiarity with construction issues.
