Job Description

Work within a 3D model to produce project-specific documents.
Develop piping material specifications.
Perform pipe wall thickness calculations and piping stress computer analysis.
Preparing and reviewing calculations, drawings, specifications, plans, and requisitions of structures, systems, and equipment.
Reviewing design documents from equipment suppliers.
Compiling, evaluating, correlating, and analyzing data.
Performing routine quantity takeoffs.
Design criteria documents and change packages.
Performing calculations and preliminary analysis to evaluate results.

Requirements

At least 6 years of engineering experience.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
Familiarity with 3D piping soft wares PDMS, ED3.
Familiarity with stress analysis knowledge and Caesar II.
Knowledge of industry standards ASME, ASTM, API, etc.
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
Familiarity with construction issues.
