About the Role:
We are seeking a visionary and seasoned Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead the human capital strategy for our client in Iran. This executive role demands a strategic thinker with deep operational expertise in upstream oil & gas, capable of aligning people, performance, and policy with dynamic business objectives and regulatory environments.
As CHRO, you will shape the workforce of the future—integrating localization mandates, rotational workforce dynamics, and compliance with Iranian labor law—while driving leadership development, industrial relations, and field HR excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Capital Strategy & Governance:
- Design and execute HR strategy aligned with business and localization goals.
- Serve as a key advisor to the Executive Leadership Team.
Workforce Planning & Localization:
- Build robust manpower plans for E&P and oilfield services, ensuring MoP compliance and effective national/expat staffing.
Field HR Operations:
- Lead site-level HR frameworks for rotational and offshore teams, supporting housing, rotation cycles, and welfare.
Talent Development & Succession:
- Drive leadership development, technical upskilling, and partnerships with academic and training institutions in Iran.
Industrial Relations & Legal Compliance:
- Ensure full compliance with labor laws and manage union, contractor, and grievance frameworks.
HR Systems & Analytics:
- Deploy HRIS platforms and analytics for digital transformation, audit readiness, and strategic insights.
