Job Description
The sales specialist is responsible for improving the customer's operations, ensuring profitable sales, understanding customer needs and requirements, and increasing customer satisfaction.
- Initiate outbound and receive inbound phone activity, email, etc., to design solutions that enhance customers' business operations, generating profitable sales, and increasing customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct annual planning for the assigned accounts and the respective top customers.
- Adapt forecasts for top customers.
- Responsible for pricing, negotiation, and finalization of sales orders.
- Enter client data and orders into Döhlers systems in cooperation with CS.
- Prepare quotations quickly in collaboration with pricing and based on agreed minimum order quantities, standardized prices, extra packaging charges, payment and delivery conditions, etc.
- Responsible for providing customer solutions to meet customer needs
- Acquire new business through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, and emails
- Follow up on all aspects of customer requests for Döhlers products, capabilities, services, etc.
- Maintain accurate account files of all customer data and leads including all written communications.
- Be well-networked within the Döhlers organization to direct or respond promptly to a customer's inquiry or need.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the food industry in the B2B section is a must.
- Customer-focused with problem-solving and strong negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering fields, Business Administration, or related fields (food or chemical engineering is an advantage).
- At least 5 years of experience in similar positions.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Good team player.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willing to take initiative and responsibility.
