Job Description
● Maintain a long-term production schedule or plan, taking into consideration the needs forecasted by our demand planning team.
● Execute the supply planning process of inventory planning and the development of a master production plan.
● Monitor monthly and weekly production plans, prioritizing certain work orders.
● Manage and supports projects that are within the brand, i.e. innovations, renovations, transitions, capacity planning, and value improvement programs.
● Track inventory levels at our distribution centers and allocate products as needed
● Track inventory of raw materials and advise our purchasing team.
● Monitor movement of materials through purchasing, storage, production, and retail distribution.
● Set preferred stock levels and prevent excess inventory.
● Create an optimized replenishment plan for raw and packaging materials over an 18-month horizon that ensures the supply of material to production whilst ensuring that the working capital targets for raw and packaging materials are met.
● Monitor supply signals using MRP purchase requisitions ensuring delivery dates, lead times, and required quantities are correct, and finally creating purchase orders and ensuring their fulfillment by the supplier.
