Job Description
We are looking for an experienced senior manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of our fulfillment center. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a team of employees, ensuring that all orders are processed and shipped on time, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the fulfillment center: This includes overseeing all aspects of the fulfillment center’s operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping orders.
- Ensure that all orders are processed and shipped on time: This involves monitoring order processing times and ensuring that all orders are shipped within the promised timeframe.
- Manage a team of employees, including hiring, training, and scheduling: This involves recruiting and hiring new employees as needed, providing training to new hires and ongoing training to existing employees, and scheduling employees to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
- Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment. This will include the setup and implementation of career development plans for all direct reports.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity: This includes identifying areas for improvement within the fulfillment center’s operations and implementing new processes or procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure that all products are properly stored and accounted for: This involves tracking inventory levels in real time and ensuring that all products are stored in the correct location within the fulfillment center.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time: This includes collaborating with other departments such as customer service, sales, and marketing to ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Develop a strong and comprehensive department KPI framework, ensuring all key performance and cost targets are met in conjunction with excellent customer experience.
- Develop initiatives to improve speed, efficiency, and the quality of current processes and make our customer experience better than ever
- Work closely with technology teams to develop a joint system roadmap between technology and operations.
- Maintain health and safety standards within the area and promote a positive health and safety culture on site.
- Providing data points for the preparation of business reviews and planning reports.
- Develop an integrated schedule and risk management platform and processes.
