Job Description
The head of sales is responsible for leading the sales team to ensure meeting topline objectives and sales plans by building the business relationship with customers/distributors to ensure the best commercialization of Nestle Water products across all active channels.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction/input for the development of the channel, customer/distributor, and field sales strategies in line with business requirements (Market Business Strategy and operational plan).
- Develop and communicate key priorities for the sales organization (channel, Customer, business development, distribution penetration, visibility, etc.).
- Accountable and responsible for ensuring the achievement of agreed sales targets/KPIs. Challenges the sales organization to ensure its effectiveness and meet the evolution of business requirements.
- Ensure effective liaison with marketing, supply chain, finance, and other functions to manage trade-offs and drive for overall objectives achievement.
- Develop business relationships with key customers to ensure strategic alignment and continuously improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the development of careers, succession plans, and coaching of the sales team.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of experience in business operations.
- Strong experience in Sales Leadership.
- Multi-category experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in related fields.
- Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience.
- Extensive knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to make decisions and build consensus.
- Proficiency in English.
- Good communication skills and a team player.
- Creative, energetic, and self-motivated.
- Ability to lead a team.
- Familiarity with Rahkaran is an advantage.
