Job Description


As the Senior R&D Manager, you will lead the strategic direction of our research and development team in a dynamic environment focused on innovative medical equipment, with a specialization in ear-related technologies and hearing aid production. This role emphasizes strong leadership and management prowess to guide multidisciplinary teams, drive project success from concept to commercialization, and foster a culture of excellence in a competitive healthcare landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a research and development team (10-15 engineers and specialists), with a strong emphasis on motivation, performance evaluation, and professional development to achieve peak productivity.
• Develop and execute R&D strategies, including identifying innovation opportunities in electronics, signal processing, and medical device design for hearing aids and ear health solutions.
• Oversee research projects from ideation to production, focusing on efficient management of timelines, budgets, and resources to accelerate time-to-market.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., manufacturing and marketing) to align objectives and resolve complex challenges in medical device development.
• Analyze global technology trends and integrate them into company products, utilizing advanced tools like AI and machine learning for enhanced hearing technologies.
• Provide technical documentation and strategic reporting to senior leadership, leveraging robust management skills to deliver actionable insights.
• Promote a culture of innovation and manage organizational change to address competitive pressures in the medical equipment sector.

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from a reputable university, and a Master’s degree in Electronics or Signal Processing (mandatory).
• Experience: At least 8 years in R&D, including a minimum of 5 years in managerial roles (e.g., project lead or supervisor), demonstrated by successes such as leading high-performing teams and improving project efficiencies.


Key Skills:
◦ Exceptional management strength: Proven ability to lead large teams, resolve conflicts, and build collaborative work environments (strong emphasis on this competency).
◦ Proficiency in English (advanced level minimum, for technical literature review, international collaborations, and documentation).
◦ Deep knowledge of electronics simulation software (e.g., MATLAB, SPICE) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project or Agile methodologies).
◦ Advanced analytical skills for processing complex data and data-driven decision-making in medical device contexts.
• Personal Attributes: Innovative, results-oriented, and adept at teamwork in high-pressure settings.
