POSITION SNAPSHOT:

Location: Food and Beverage Plant, Qazvin, Iran;
Company: Nestlé, Full-Time;

POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you an experienced person in production, who wants to continue your career as a Plant Manager? We are looking for exceptional applicants with a strong background in the Production and Engineering function and extraordinary leadership experience. At our very core, we’re looking for candidates who are passionate to contribute to how our products get from our raw material into the final product which will go to our consumer's homes.
As a leader of the Food and Beverage production team, you will be responsible for leading the production and plant engineering teams to achieve the departmental goals in terms of safety, health, environment, quality, cost, and delivery as well as performance to drive consumer and business needs. Also, you will be part of the continuous improvement journey of Nestlé Iran and you will be responsible to deliver the vertical startup of new projects in food and beverages.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • As food and beverage plant manager you are the leader of the NCE journey and in charge of 5-dimension manufacturing excellence, you need to make sure compliance with safety, quality, cost, availability, and sustainability in your production area.
  • You are responsible to ensure high-performing operations through goal alignment across all production areas also granted the finished products are consistently manufactured meeting prescribed standards, on time, and meeting consumer expectations, and you need to lead TPM in Food and Beverage plant to ensure continued improvement in your area.
  • You are a fully functioning leader of the food and beverage team you will start with a daily team meeting, to review the goals, and what you must do to help achieve them. You will go through different important production KPIs such as FTR, Asset Intensity, reliability, MSA, and planned and unplanned stoppages. You need to check the achievement versus the targets as a big operation with a global network of over the world; teamwork and contribution toward our goals and meeting the production measures targets are critical to be successful.
  • Following the meeting where you are now clear on both the team goals a, you’ll often spend time with production supervisors and operators, quality, supply chain and engineering team to put your plans in place and make sure the quality of finished products is consistent and produced as per approve specifications with full implementation of safety health and environment standards and Nestlé good manufacturing practices.
  • As we have a culture of planning in our job, in alignment with the supply chain team you will coordinate the production plan and make sure we are meeting our master schedule attainment and we are meeting consumers' needs.
  • People Management is key in Nestlé. As a leader, you need to ensure proper performance management in your team and lead your team competencies development through specified training, and coaching sessions however we expect the team to access training courses and material proactively by reaching out to resources available in Nestlé. It’s your responsibility to ensure your team always tracks their personal and professional development plan.
  • Following the strong innovation and renovation pipeline to ensure on-time in a full startup you will be responsible for leading start-up milestones and activities in terms of man, method, machine, and material readiness.
  • You’re nearing the end of the day, so now you take some time to plan tomorrow’s activities and chase work you’re still waiting on. Before you leave the factory, you need to make sure we are successful as one Nestlé family.

Requirements

ARE YOU A FIT?

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Food Safety, Chemistry, or Engineering fields.
  • At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing and relevant functions.
  • Proven experience as a production expert or similar role.
  • High commitment to safety and quality with a high understanding of safety and environmental principles.
  • Exposure to implementing continuous improvement and employee involvement techniques. Such as TPM and NCE.
  • English proficiency (written and verbal).
  • International and professional way of working along with a positive attitude.
