POSITION SNAPSHOT
Location: Qazvin - Iran

POSITION SUMMARY

Are you an experienced person in Engineering, who wants to continue their career as a Mechanical Manager? We are looking for exceptional applicants with a strong background in the IS & Workshop Functions. You are responsible for Coordinates Engineering functions and people covering all aspects of Industrial Services as applied in factories. Technical expertise to include utility management at Factories, this includes all utility maintenance, cost, UPS, compliance, technical master plan development, team building, coaching, energy/water responsibility, sustainability project identification, compliance gap closure, and project management for the IS & Workshop teams. Sets overall technical and tactical direction for IS/facilities department.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …
• Develop and maintain Utility competencies at the factory for the IS and Workshop team.
• Manages maintenance contracts with all 3rd party suppliers and ensures follow-up on service reports and takes corrective actions accordingly.
• Observe maintenance plan and carry out improvements to ensure the optimum cost of generation of utilities
• Manages shift schedule for IS to ensure availability of IS operators around the clock
• Ensure optimum utility operations at the factory level, by following Nestlé strategy
• Manage Capital Investments projects in Industrial Services areas, ensuring that the technical solution follows Nestlé standards.
• Maintain all utility equipment to make them ready at the time of Operation including refrigeration, air handling units, firefighting equipment, compressed air, etc.
• Manage for Prepare work orders according to requirements and complete and TECO them.
• Ensure Processes & Equipment in his/her area of competence are safe for people, products, and the environment, in line with all corresponding local / Nestlé regulations.
• Support other departments in mechanical fabrication/machining requirements to keep the plant in operation.
• Work as per hygiene standards, compliance with hygiene work permits & hot work permits wherever applicable in IS & Workshop area to maintain personal tool kit to ensure the hygiene condition of tools as well as the workplace.
• Timely maintenance of workshops equipment for smooth and consistent operation.
• Oversee the Follow up on routine maintenance activities and work orders, and complete them (and TECO).
• Practical implementation of process description activities based on NQMS objectives & principles, review, and improvement of KPIs related to workshops & IS area.

ARE YOU A FIT?
• Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering.
• Min 5-7 years’ experience in a mechanical engineering discipline and managing the team, preferably in a food-related manufacturing Plant.
• Advance in the English Language, Leadership skills, and Problem-solving skills.
