Job Description

We seek a talented and detail-oriented market research specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. As a market research specialist, you will gather and analyze data to provide valuable insights and support strategic decision-making within the company's marketing department. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of market research methodologies, and the ability to communicate findings to key stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Design and execute market research studies, including surveys, focus groups, and interviews, to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Analyze data using statistical techniques and generate actionable insights and recommendations for the marketing team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define research objectives, develop research plans, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Utilize various research tools and platforms to gather and analyze data, such as customer surveys, online analytics, and social media listening.
  • Stay up to date with the latest market research methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
  • Assist in the evaluation of new market opportunities and the assessment of potential risks.
  • Analyze public opinion and sentiment regarding the company's brand and offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in market research, preferably within the on-demand delivery or logistics industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data sets.
  • Proficiency in using market research tools and software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey research findings.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experienced in conducting competitor analysis, including gathering data on competitor offerings, pricing, positioning, and marketing strategies.
  • Extensive knowledge of benchmarking methodologies and best practices.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis software.
  • A passion for staying informed about market trends and consumer behavior.
