Job Description
- Calculate and analyze the full cost of goods and services, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
- Monitor cost trends to identify inefficiencies, cost drivers, and areas for operational improvement.
- Prepare regular cost reports and in-depth financial analyses for middle and senior management.
- Ensure inventory records (raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods) are aligned with accounting data.
- Collaborate in the development of cost structures for new products and services.
- Coordinate closely with production, planning, warehouse, and finance departments to ensure consistent data flow.
- Participate in physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Propose improvements to cost accounting processes and enhance the accuracy of financial reporting.
- Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by providing cost estimates and analyzing budget variances.
- Provide audit support related to costing and inventory as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting or Financial Management.
- At least 3 years of experience in cost or industrial accounting within a manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of cost control principles, budgeting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate. management reports.
- Familiarity with supply chain, production processes, and materials planning.
- Proficient in accounting software (preferably ERP systems such as Rahkaran or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, etc.).
- High attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and process-oriented thinking.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in cross-functional teamwork.
