Job Description

  • Calculate and analyze the full cost of goods and services, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
  • Monitor cost trends to identify inefficiencies, cost drivers, and areas for operational improvement.
  • Prepare regular cost reports and in-depth financial analyses for middle and senior management.
  • Ensure inventory records (raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods) are aligned with accounting data.
  • Collaborate in the development of cost structures for new products and services.
  • Coordinate closely with production, planning, warehouse, and finance departments to ensure consistent data flow.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
  • Propose improvements to cost accounting processes and enhance the accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by providing cost estimates and analyzing budget variances.
  • Provide audit support related to costing and inventory as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting or Financial Management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in cost or industrial accounting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid understanding of cost control principles, budgeting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate. management reports.
  • Familiarity with supply chain, production processes, and materials planning.
  • Proficient in accounting software (preferably ERP systems such as Rahkaran or similar).
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, etc.).
  • High attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and process-oriented thinking.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in cross-functional teamwork.
