
Job Description
Summary:
The Head of e-Health & Beauty is responsible for leading the full commercial and digital strategy of the H&B category within the online business. This role oversees category performance, customer experience, and end-to-end growth initiatives across e-commerce channels.
Responsibilities:
• Own the full P&L
• Develop and execute the e-commerce strategy for H&B
• Lead category planning, including assortment strategy, pricing, promotions, availability, and demand forecasting
• Strengthen relationships with key suppliers and brands, negotiating terms, visibility plans, and joint business initiatives.
• Drive digital merchandising excellence, ensuring optimal product placement, search performance, and user experience.
• Oversee content quality, including product descriptions, images, SEO, and compliance with brand guidelines.
• Monitor category performance through data analytics; identify opportunities to improve conversion, basket size, and profitability.
• Collaborate with supply chain and operations to ensure product availability, stock accuracy, and efficient fulfillment.
• Work closely with marketing to design and execute online campaigns, seasonal activations, and traffic-driving initiatives.
• Identify new opportunities such as exclusive online SKUs, bundles, and loyalty integrations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for all Health & Beauty products sold online.
• Lead and mentor the e-H&B team, setting clear targets, KPIs, and performance standards.
• Champion customer-centricity, ensuring the online H&B experience meets expectations for convenience, reliability, and quality.
• Report category performance to senior leadership with action-driven insights and recommendations
Skills:
• Strategic & Commercial Leadership
Strong commercial acumen with experience owning category P&L.
Ability to build and execute medium–long-term e-commerce strategies.
Deep understanding of H&B category dynamics, trends, and customer segments.
• Category & Supplier Management
Expertise in assortment planning, pricing, promotions, and lifecycle management.
Strong negotiation skills with suppliers, brands, and distributors.
Ability to build joint business plans and strengthen strategic partnerships.
• Digital & E-Commerce Capability
Strong knowledge of online merchandising, SEO for product pages, and conversion optimization.
Experience with platforms such as Shopify, Hybris, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or equivalent.
Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce, category management, or commercial roles
• Direct experience in Health & Beauty (beauty, personal care, wellness, FMCG, pharma, or retail) is strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Additional certifications in Digital Marketing, E-Commerce Management, or Data Analytics are beneficial.
