About the role:

Zeema is seeking a Business Development Executive to join our team. In this role, you will utilize various marketing and prospecting channels to identify potential clients and partners and generate new leads for the sales team. You will qualify leads, set up introductory meetings, and pass them on to the Account Executives for further nurturing and closing of deals. Our goals and ambitions are large, and we are seeking smart, capable individuals prepared to hit the ground running. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a growing company in a new industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research, and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Engage with potential clients, understand their needs, and act as their reliable advisor in offering tailored solutions.
  • Create and implement a sales strategy and plan, focusing on both immediate and long-term goal attainment.
  • Forge strong relationships with industry stakeholders, positioning as a key player in the financial ecosystem.
  • Work hand in hand with the Account Executives to ensure a smooth transition of leads to actual clients.
  • Track and publish weekly reports using quantitative results.

Requirements

  • More than 5 years of business development experience.
  • Experience in the financial sector is a must.
  • Established a network among the industry’s key players and stakeholders.
  • Recommended: Knowledge of CRM.
  • Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales.
  • Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Results-oriented, highly competitive, and motivated with the ability to meet/exceed department metrics/measures.
  • Problem solver with a professional service-oriented attitude.
  • Bachelor's degree.
