Job Description

Essential business activities expected from this position: • Develop the brand and category fact-base • Build and maintain the brand and category fact-base across the full value chain • Coordinate research needs with Zone CMI and support execution • Develop a full understanding of retail audit data in respective category/categories • Track brand performance indicators and prepare monthly reports • Develop and execute annual operational marketing and communication plan for respective brand(s) • Using the fact base, develop annual marketing plans and drive execution • Provide input and support in the annual volume planning and monthly forecasts for respective brands • Manage the annual marketing budget for respective brands -- plan and monitor A&P spent to maximize effectiveness and profitability • Fine tune brand positioning and develop communication accordingly • Define media strategy, brief agencies and monitor implementation. Provide analysis of results and report to stakeholders • Develop ideas for and manage execution of the promotional/activation activities for respective brands in accordance with global processes • Work closely with the commercial team and trade marketing to align activities and communication strategy • Develop the brand portfolio through innovation and renovation • Based on value chain analysis, provide ideas and recommendations for innovation within the brand portfolio • Execute on the brand's innovation strategy in coordination with the global teams and manages innovation projects with PAM, coordinate with all stakeholders and ensure alignment

Requirements

This position requires a fair level of marketing understanding (5-6 years) • Good level of understanding of drivers of brand performance in the market • Good knowledge of consumer behavior with an understanding of research methodologies and applications • Strong analytical skills, ability to gather, analyze and interpret market and internal data and develop recommendations accordingly - Critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze validity of information • Integrative thinking skills • Highly organized, flexible, with multi-tasking skills with the ability to priorities and work under tight deadlines • Creativity and imaginative nature • Team player with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills and the ability to lead and influence cross functional teams • Strong verbal and written communication skills with good presentation skills • Project management skills • Fluent in English and Farsi.
