Job Description

  • Responsible for sales of polymers.
  • Identify customer requirements and collaborate with BASF organization to offer solutions and develop relationships.
  • Provide as accurate sales forecast as possible, supporting efficient planning of production and services.
  • Negotiate and close deals and contracts with customers.
  • Identify and develop new customers, and new applications leading to profitable future business.
  • Closely collaborate with the supply chain and logistics team for order execution.
  • Continuously add to market intelligence and update customer and competitor databases.
  • Keep necessary CRM systems and/or other databases updated or provide input to keep them updated.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or any relevant major.
  • At least 5 years of technical and sales experience (polymers) preferably in developing markets.
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural/multinational environment.
  • Very good communication skills; communication with openness, clarity, and organizational awareness.
  • Excellent work organization skills.
  • Great presentation skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
