Shift Leader

Job Description

The shift leader is responsible for managing the crew who are working on the lines, he should lead the team in order to meet the targets such as production attainments (OEE & MTBF), Quality, and EH&S on each shift. He has to spend most of his time on the shop floor, has strong contact with the crew, and ensures the workflow's continuation towards the needs. He also makes sure that all IWS standards are followed while fostering and maintaining a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in production.
  • Flexible to work in rotating shifts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership skills like decision-making, motivation, and goal-setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Great knowledge of problem-solving.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Energetic and self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Familiar with main production KPIs.
  • Familiar with continuous improvement concepts and tools.
  • Familiar with lean manufacturing, TPM, or IWS.
  • Basic English skills.
