Senior Foreign Trade & Procurement Specialist

1. Position Overview

We are a leading company specializing in the supply of industrial materials, anti-corrosion coating systems, industrial linings, and projects serving the oil & gas, petrochemical, and heavy industries. We are seeking a highly qualified **Senior Foreign Trade & Procurement Specialist** to join our team.

2. Position Mission

The successful candidate will be fully responsible for managing the company's **end-to-end domestic and international procurement processes**, from purchase requisition through supplier sourcing, quotation management, commercial negotiations, purchase orders, proforma review, import registration, foreign currency allocation, international transportation, cargo insurance, customs clearance, final delivery, and foreign exchange obligation settlement.

This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional who combines strong international trade knowledge with excellent execution, documentation, problem-solving, and follow-up skills to ensure every procurement case is successfully completed.

3. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will independently manage and execute the following responsibilities:

* Conduct professional correspondence and negotiations with international suppliers.
* Obtain quotations, proforma invoices, technical datasheets, catalogs, and supporting documentation.
* Evaluate commercial terms including pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, Incoterms, and proforma validity.
* Manage all activities related to Iran's Integrated Trade System, including import registration, amendments, renewals, permit follow-up, foreign currency allocation, insurance registration, declaration of currency source, and other related procedures.
* Coordinate banking transactions, foreign exchange transfers, remittances, currency allocation, and financing processes.
* Coordinate international logistics by obtaining freight quotations, selecting the most appropriate shipping methods, and managing shipping documentation.
* Follow up on cargo insurance, customs clearance procedures, and coordinate with customs brokers.
* Complete all procedures related to foreign exchange obligation settlement.
* Manage domestic procurement activities including supplier sourcing, quotation requests, vendor evaluation, negotiations, bid comparison, and delivery follow-up.
* Prepare periodic management reports covering procurement status, imports, logistics, customs clearance, and foreign exchange commitments.

4. Qualifications & Technical Requirements

* Minimum **5 years of proven experience** in international trade, import operations, procurement, and Iran's Integrated Trade System.
* Hands-on experience managing the complete import process from purchase order placement through customs clearance and final delivery.
* Strong practical knowledge of the Integrated Trade System, including import registration, foreign currency allocation, insurance procedures, declaration of currency source, remittances, and foreign exchange obligation settlement.
* Solid understanding of Incoterms, international shipping documents, and international commercial documentation.
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to correspond and negotiate professionally with overseas suppliers.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and preparation of management reports.
* Strong knowledge of import regulations, licensing procedures, and regulatory compliance.
