● Be regularly in touch with planning and R&D departments to receive new inquiries about needed products.
● Active search and prepare a valid and comprehensive international vendor list for the demand of the company for different products.
● Be regularly in touch with vendors and be aware of any new development of new products.
● Participate in local and international exhibitions to maintain and expand the network of vendors.
● Coordinate all international commercial affairs such as corresponding, orders controlling with suppliers for payment, shipment or delivery schedule, commercial registration procedure, and transportation follow-up.
● Manage the process of getting necessary permissions from the Ministry of Health and also the Ministry of Commerce.
● Open letters of credit and manage any other banking transactions.
● Plan and coordinate customs clearance procedures.
● Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance.
● Be regularly in touch with international principal suppliers to become assured about proper forecasting and ordering.
Requirements
● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commercial Management, or related majors (an MBA degree is a plus).
● At least 3 years of experience in commerce and preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
● Excellent fluency in English.
● Good communication and presentation skills.
● Self-organized, and motivated with leadership skills.
● Able to work under pressure and time constraints.
● Good knowledge of international trading.
● Familiar with import order registration at the ministry of commerce and ministry of health.
● Ability to travel.
● Ability to work overtime.
● Professional IT skills.
● Preferable age range: 25 to 35 years old.
