Senior Import & Commercial Specialist

As part of our continued international expansion, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Import & Commercial Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the entire import process from purchase order to customs clearance and final delivery.
• Handle all import registration procedures through the Iran Integrated Trade System (Comprehensive Trade System), including order registration, foreign currency allocation, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate international logistics with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and insurance companies.
• Review, prepare, and manage shipping and commercial documents, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and related documentation.
• Coordinate customs clearance activities with customs brokers and relevant authorities.
• Communicate and negotiate with international suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and commercial terms.
• Monitor shipment schedules, logistics costs, and delivery performance.
• Work closely with finance, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure efficient import operations.
• Prepare management reports and recommend improvements to import and logistics processes.
Qualifications
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in international purchasing, import, and foreign trade.
• Strong hands on experience with the Iran Integrated Trade System (Comprehensive Trade System), import registration procedures, foreign currency allocation, and import regulations.
• Excellent knowledge of international logistics, Incoterms, shipping documentation, customs procedures, and import operations.
• Proven experience managing the complete import cycle from order placement to final delivery.
• Fluent in English, with strong business communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Highly organized, detail oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple import projects simultaneously.
