Requirements
● Master's degree or a Ph.D. in Polymer, Coating, Paint Engineering, or related fields.
● At least 2 years of experience in an area of specialization
● Proficient in the formulation of all types of decorative and industrial paints
● Proficient in the ASTM/ISO/INSO standards used in the paint industry
● Proficient in English (especially reading and writing)
● Organizational and planning skills
● Fluent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
● Able to utilize the broad spectrum of coatings chemistry in product development
● Able to adapt and change quickly in response to new situations/demands
● Problem-solving skills
● Project-management skills
Preferred qualifications:
● Familiar with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 29001, and ISO 17025.
● Ability to see opportunities and take the lead.
● Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships across the organization.
● Sense of accountability and willingness to take a hands-on approach.
● Creativity and passion for innovation.
● Experience working with products and technologies including, but not limited to, 1K, 2K, primer, monocot, basecoat/clearcoat systems both solvent-based and waterborne.
