Job Description

● Develop innovative products with the right quality as per customer requirements. ● Undertake new product developments for introduction in the market to maintain the market leaders and generate new revenue for the company. ● Undertake implementation and continuous improvement of the quality of products while maintaining cost-effective standards and methods for cost management. ● Technical support to production, sales and QA department. ● Work cross-functionally to standardize existing products and develop new product features. ● Own the product lifecycle from research to implementation. ● Resolve product or process problems. ● Contribute to a new product or process development and/or maintenance or improvement of a product through the use of experimental results. ● Work effectively in a team environment. ● Communicate results and conclusions to the organization and customers. ● Work up, analyze, and present data using appropriate specialty software packages such as DOE, visualization, and statistical analysis programs.

Requirements

● Master's degree or a Ph.D. in Polymer, Coating, Paint Engineering, or related fields. ● At least 2 years of experience in an area of specialization ● Proficient in the formulation of all types of decorative and industrial paints ● Proficient in the ASTM/ISO/INSO standards used in the paint industry ● Proficient in English (especially reading and writing) ● Organizational and planning skills ● Fluent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. ● Able to utilize the broad spectrum of coatings chemistry in product development ● Able to adapt and change quickly in response to new situations/demands ● Problem-solving skills ● Project-management skills Preferred qualifications: ● Familiar with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 29001, and ISO 17025. ● Ability to see opportunities and take the lead. ● Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships across the organization. ● Sense of accountability and willingness to take a hands-on approach. ● Creativity and passion for innovation. ● Experience working with products and technologies including, but not limited to, 1K, 2K, primer, monocot, basecoat/clearcoat systems both solvent-based and waterborne.
