Job Description
As a project manager, you play a pivotal role in leading and advancing R&D and smart furniture product development projects. Your primary responsibility is to dynamically and effectively lead interdisciplinary teams - including industrial design, electronics, and mechanical engineering (manufacturing) - to drive projects from ideation through to final delivery with success.
Utilizing advanced organizational skills, precise oversight, and professional documentation practices, you ensure project objectives are achieved efficiently. Furthermore, you serve as a key liaison among various company departments—including supply chain, production, accounting, and others—ensuring seamless coordination.
Your role involves strategic planning, optimal resource allocation, and continuous interdepartmental alignment to meet project goals within the defined timeframes and budgets. Through your capabilities in resource management, effective communication, and sound decision-making, projects will be executed with the highest standards of quality and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Organization and Coordination:
- Lead and coordinate interdisciplinary teams in industrial design, electronics, and mechanical engineering to ensure synergy and cohesive project advancement. Foster a collaborative environment aligned with overall project strategies.
Execution Supervision and Reporting:
- Closely monitor project execution to ensure adherence to standards and timelines. Prepare and present comprehensive technical and managerial reports to the R&D Director, focusing on transparency, accuracy, and actionable improvement suggestions.
Professional Project Documentation:
- Maintain structured and accurate documentation across all project phases—including plans, progress, challenges, and outcomes. Ensure accessibility and continuous updates for future reviews and projects.
Project Management with Professional Tools:
- Utilize advanced project management software such as JIRA, Primavera P6, or similar tools for planning, tracking progress, and managing resources. Implement project management frameworks to optimize performance and mitigate risks.
OKR Framework Implementation:
- Apply and monitor the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework to define clear, measurable goals aligned with organizational strategy. Continuously track OKR progress and provide feedback to enhance team performance.
Cross-Functional Communication:
- Establish effective and purposeful communication with various departments - including supply chain, production, and accounting - to address requirements and resolve challenges within the product development cycle.
Bill of Materials (BOM) Management:
- Develop, maintain, and update Bills of Materials (BOM) and production guidelines to ensure information accuracy and consistency, supporting manufacturing and quality control processes.
Technical and Quality Report Review:
- Analyze technical reports from production line specialists to ensure process and product compliance with defined quality standards. Offer constructive feedback and follow up on corrective actions to support continuous quality improvement.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Office Software:
- Full command of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Project Management Tools:
- Expertise in using project management tools such as JIRA, Primavera P6, or Notion for planning, progress tracking, and resource management.
OKR Implementation:
- Ability to design, implement, and monitor OKRs to align project goals with organizational strategies.
Documentation and Technical Reporting:
- Skilled in drafting accurate technical and managerial reports and maintaining professional project documentation.
