
Job Description
*POSITION SUMMARY
Plant Engineer is providing support to Maintenance and Improvement (M&I) professionals and technical in the Factory for operational activities and participation in improvement projects; doing so in line with corporate guidelines, enforcing that all M&I activities enhance business objectives, product quality, and plant operation/performance while ensuring that people health and safety, product safety, and environment are never compromised.
*Responsibilities:
• Enable high-performance Operations, by providing assets' Maintenance according to the Nestlé Strategy, using TPM/PM as the multi-disciplined approach to maintaining/improving fixed assets, and AMM to manage their life cycle.
• Support in Capital Investments projects in his Plant ensures that the technical solution follows corporate and market standards and is delivered with the expected quality, being on time and within budget. Responsibilities include the preparation of the user and technical specifications, coordinating the requirements of the main users (production, quality, etc.), the follow-up of the solution development, the pre-test, implementation, and training of operators and maintenance crews. Must fully understand the technical details of the M&I solutions in all projects.
• Ensure Process & Equipment safety for people, products, and environment and that one exhibits an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations. Ensure that Change Management is in place to appropriately manage modifications in the M&I solutions. Ensure the application of the market and local M&I-related legislation.
• Maintenance engineers play a key role in the continuous improvement of our factories by mastering the process and product characteristics. The M & I engineer must have a deep insight into the processes and continuously strive for the improvement of quality, safety, or efficiency while protecting the technological know-how and competitive advantage.
• Participates in the implementation of engineering tools at the site level (i.e., NIMS, AMM, etc.). Ensures that all M&I installations comply with market and corporate safety, health, environment, product safety, and product quality standards. Ensures that the key M&I documentation is up to date and in place (Calibration procedures, etc.). Participates in the M&I activities in the factory.
*Requirements:
• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in an Engineering discipline.
• Great leadership skills, Strong analytical thinking skills, and a Result-Oriented approach.
• Great Problem-Solving mindset and Teamwork spirit.
• Quick learner and Initiative.
• Ability to work under pressure and have a sense of responsibility.
• Upper Intermediate/Proficient spoke and writing English.
• High commitment to Safety and Quality with a high understanding of safety and environmental principles.
