Job Description

  • Creating and sharing monthly and daily production plans based on MPS files to prioritize and optimize production.
  • Organizing and leading weekly production plan meetings with all stakeholders to ensure the feasibility of the production program.
  • Sharing required raw milk and cream to realize the production plan on a weekly basis with the milk supply team.
  • Coordinating and following up on the release of questionable quality products to ensure product inventory for supply.
  • Liaising with the technical team and maintenance manager on the maintenance schedule on a weekly basis to ensure the feasibility and effectiveness of the required maintenance (planned or emergency).
  • Participating in analysis of the production capacity study to inform key stakeholders about supply opportunities and threats.
  • Liaising with MRP specialist and logistic team on availability of materials to make sure no issues on RM/PM stock coverage.
  • Reporting to the sales and commercial supply chain teams about lead-time information to enable them handle orders and demands appropriately.
  • Leading the resolution of supply (raw material and finished goods products) issues such as shortages, overstock with all stakeholders to sustain products supply.
  • Tracking and monitoring production adherence on daily basis to make sure sustainability of supply.
  • Collaborating in production rolling forecast to be shared with all stockholders (finance, production, technical, quality, safety, HR) to do advance planning and required actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering fields, or Management.
  • 3+ years of experience as a production planner (preferably in a well-reputed FMCG company).
  • Excellent with planning processes.
  • Working knowledge of demand management and forecasting.
  • Math calculation capability, statistics, and analytical thinking (data analysis).
  • Fully operational knowledge of capacity (including production, warehouse, utility, human resources, logistics, etc.) management.
  • Familiar with materials management fundamentals (such as Work in Process (WIP), Material Resource Planning (MRP), inventory control, etc.).
  • Familiar with manufacturing process environments and specifications (such as production process, development process, quality process, etc.).
  • Familiar with risk management concepts.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Familiar with process improvement (lean manufacturing models and more specifically Bel Manufacturing Model (BMM)) and Six Sigma tool.
  • Familiar with Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Conflict management capability and ability to work in a multi-functional environment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Stress management skills.
  • Excellent in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • English level: upper-intermediate.
