We are seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to own marketing data and analytics to help drive marketing insights for growth, retention, and product innovation. Marketing data analyst is responsible for ownership of marketing data, and data pipeline. Driving marketing insights by analyzing all marketing data. Discovering new, game-changing views into big data sets, finding new inferences about user behavior in marketing data, and translating this into dashboards.
Role description:
● Analyze sales funnels and customer intent.
● Measure ROI of online and offline advertising campaigns.
● Report on marketing KPIs like leads, conversion rates, website traffic, and social media engagement.
● Track Marketing automation campaigns metrics.
● Monitor budget distribution and performance of paid ad campaigns.
● Conduct competitive research and analyze benchmarking data.
● Recommend website and campaign optimizations.
● Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to better understand trends in consumer behaviors and the life cycle of a customer.
● Perform target audience segmentation to understand which customers we should target for which opportunity.
Requirements
● Understanding of marketing psychology.
● Strong communication skills with both engineering teams and marketing teams.
● Understanding of an analytics stack including desktop and mobile app platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Web Events, App Events, Firebase, and Power BI.
● Advanced understanding of statistical analysis models and customer segmentation.
● Ability to quickly analyze large data and draw inferences.
● Ability to talk through a data problem and come up with a way to fix it.
● Ability to weigh multiple ways to answer a question and identify the most time-efficient report.
● Good knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and Python.
● Work experience as a marketing analyst or similar role.
● Expertise in Google Analytics and Tag Manager.
● Understanding of marketing campaign strategies.
● Good knowledge of MS Excel.
● Analytical abilities.
● Good knowledge of competitive research.
● More than 3 years of experience using Mode or similar BI tools.
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant fields.
