Job Description

Currently, Fin Va Ava Pars is looking for someone who can manage both the portfolio of investments and future investments. After four years of investment, Fin Va Ava Pars today has a portfolio of nine companies, and as a corporate investor, it is evaluating its investment choices. 

Responsibilities:

  • Involvement in all aspects of due diligence on occasional new investments.
  • (business and industry analysis, sourcing investments, competitive landscape, business/pricing model, financial modeling, deal flow management, and deal structuring).
  • Valuate investees and portfolio companies.
  • Read and review business plans and pitch decks.
  • Prepare analyses and presentations to drive investment/divestment decisions and for engagement with the firm’s extensive network of corporate relationships.
  • Participate in and be asked to contribute to weekly/monthly internal meetings in which new investments and portfolio companies are discussed.
  • Uncover areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Develop plans, roadmaps, and goals that address key deficiencies and opportunities for portfolio companies.
  • Manage relationships with current and future investment partners.
  • Report and analyze monthly portfolio companies’ performance and key issues.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of total prior related work experience.
  • Self-starter with a superior work ethic and uncompromising personal integrity.
  • Highly analytical with an interest in sifting through, and identifying trends within data.
  • Strong analytical, comprehension, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of Startup valuation methods, financial modeling and accounting, and venture capital deal terms and conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with limited supervision (including proactively seeking guidance when needed).
  • Passionate about personal development and career mentorship.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with an ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships.
  • Undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution, and a demonstrated track record of both academic and professional success.
  • Mastery of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Docs.
