Job Description
The performance director is a key figure in the organization, focusing on crafting the business plan and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Collaborating with managers from various departments, stakeholders, and key members, this role emphasizes communication and coordination for the effective execution of operations.
Responsibilities:
- P&L Ownership: Take ownership of the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, conducting in-depth analyses to monitor financial performance against targets. Develop and execute financial strategies to drive profitability, identifying revenue opportunities and cost efficiencies through an effective Execution Strategy.
- OKRs: Implement and oversee the use of Objectives and Key Results (OKR) frameworks to align departmental and individual goals with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with department heads and teams to ensure the alignment of individual departmental plans with the overall corporate strategy through a cohesive execution strategy.
- Budgeting: lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives through a comprehensive action plan.
- Sales Performance: analyze sales performance, contribute to the development of sales forecasts, and implement strategies to optimize sales revenue, pricing, and product/service positioning through a targeted action plan.
- Market Share: analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry dynamics to inform strategic decisions and develop strategies to enhance the organization's market share, collaborating with cross-functional teams through a well-defined execution dtrategy.
- Presentation: present clear and concise financial reports to executive leadership, emphasizing key P&L metrics and insights.
- Develop compelling presentations that articulate market share strategies, highlighting competitive advantages with a well-crafted Action Plan.
Leadership/Management Responsibilities:
- Create performance management system, set KPIs, monitor results, provide feedback and improve performance of each team member.
- Hold regular one on one meetings with all members of the team.
- Make decision in critical situations and help the team work under pressure.
- Inspire shared vision and lead the team to accomplish company objectives.
- Think "outside of the box" and challenge.
- Manage within team conflicts.
- Recognize and use various methods to acknowledge success of team members.
- Enable and develop technical and soft skills of team members.
- Obtain buy-in from other departments to lead company objective.
