Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage commercial trading of bitumen in domestic and export markets.
  • Identify new clients, assess purchase capacity and credit risk.
  • Negotiate sales contracts, set prices based on global market trends and logistics costs.
  • Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely shipment and delivery.
  • Monitor payments, customer financial conditions and contract compliance.
  • Analyse deal profitability, monitor margin, transport and storage costs.
  • Provide regular reports to the Bitumen Desk Manager on market status, contracts, inventory and sales performance.

*Working Conditions:

  • Based in Tehran office
  • Reports directly to Bitumen Desk Manager
  • Flexibility for coordination during off-hours for shipment delivery


Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Petroleum Engineering, Economics or related field.
  • Relevant experience in trading or selling oil products, preferably bitumen.
  • Knowledge of domestic and export bitumen market and associated logistics processes.
  • Strong skills in market analysis, sales contract negotiation, pricing strategy and margin control.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with customers and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with Incoterms, shipping documentation and order management systems.
  • 3–5 years in sales or trading of oil products, preferably bitumen
