Job Description

Job Purpose: The incumbent is responsible for managing warehousing/storage and timely shipment of all products (finished goods, merchandising materials, POSMs). He/she is in close contact with internal and external customers including Zanjan, and Rasht factories, Global Business Services, Global Planning, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Corporate Affairs and Communications, Security, Distribution Management, and other JTI locations. This position is also responsible to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders (Finished goods) to meet Sales targets. The main objectives are ensuring achieve the target levels of on-time shipments, product availability, satisfied customers, compliance with Iran's local regulations, and at optimized cost. Areas of Responsibility: ● Managing and Controlling Logistics Function: Managing and controlling supply chain to ensure smooth and efficient flow of Finished goods, marketing materials, and POSMs. Through close collaboration with the factory team, warehouse service providers, transport forwarders, security, sales, marketing, New Product Development (NPD), and Sales and Operations (S&OP) team meetings. He/she will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of warehousing and logistics operations. ● Monitor Transportation and Warehousing: Responsible to manage and control Transportation and Warehousing of Finished goods, marketing materials, and POSMs. To achieve efficient operation, good storage practices, optimum costs, and timely delivery of goods to Distributors and regional offices. ● Afghanistan and Newly Announced Markets Orders: Responsible to manage, monitor and coordinate with sourcing factories, JTI Singapore, GBS Manila, forwarders, and distributors to ensure Afghanistan orders are placed on time and deliveries are done smoothly and in a timely manner to avoid out-of-stock situations. This will also include payment follow-up and monthly actual sales reports with the Customer. ● Budgeting and Planning: Responsible to ensure accurate and on-time Annual Strategic Planning (ASP) and latest estimates plans preparations (i.e., CAPEX, OPEX, etc.) for the Logistics function. He/she will also be required to ensure the planned budget is implemented. ● Forecasting: Liaise with Factory Planning and Market to ensure accurate sales and production volumes of Finished goods to achieve target levels of inventory to avoid out-of-stock or write-offs. He/she will also be responsible to prepare accurate monthly Rolling Sales Forecasts (RSF) planning for both Iran and Afghanistan markets to ensure one-time uploading of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) monthly cycle to meet deadlines set by Global Planning.
