Job Description
Talent development specialists are responsible for the identification, development, implementation, and evaluation of solutions and tools that help individuals grow in alignment with organizational goals and strategies. Also, this person helps with the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of processes related to talent and leadership development.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement skill gap analysis.
- Design, plan, and implement various training programs, including workshops, seminars, and e-learning courses.
- Evaluate the success of development solutions, tools, and processes and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
- Collect, and maintain talent and leadership development data (e.g. training activities, attendance, training satisfaction and effectiveness, results of tests and assessments, etc).
- Monitor and review the progress of trainees.
- Help line managers and trainers solve specific training problems.
- Keep up-to-date with developments in HR learning and development fields.
- Implement talent management and succession planning programs to help with business excellence and continuity.
- Develop policies and documents necessary for talent and leadership development.
- Manage relationships with development vendors, including selection, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.
- Assist in the job promotion process by assessing the leadership skills of candidates, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and leadership competencies.
