Job Description

*** THIS ROLE IS LOCATED IN KAVEH INDUSTRIAL CITY (((SAVEH))) *** - Confer with planners to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products - Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors and freight forwarders - Plan, perform and coordinate all foreign commercial affairs such as sourcing, correspondence, negotiating, ordering, contracting, customs clearance etc. - Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices - Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods - Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, provide performance feedback, or to discuss production forecasts and changes - Handling transit shipments and forwarding (Air, sea, and road) - Contact with freight forwarders for destination services - Prepare customs documentation and ensure that shipments meet all applicable laws to facilitate the import and export of goods - Register PIs in NTSW - Following Health permits - Following CBI allocations and documentation - Calculate Landed Cost and preparing comparison tables

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Public Administration or related fields or 5 years related experience - Experience: Minimum 4-5 years experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement, or Commercial - English proficiency - Excellent understanding of supplier's business and processes and a technical acumen - Sufficient knowledge of general international business principles - Advanced principles of purchasing, contracts, logistics and supply chain - Plan, organize and prioritize assignments in a timely manner to meet critical deadlines - Sufficient knowledge of foreign purchase process, shipping documents, order registration & insurance - Interpret, apply, explain and enforce Iran’s business policies, laws and regulations, procedures and programs - Fully familiar with international shipping process market trends and condition - Fully familiar with INCOTERMS - Sufficient knowledge of MRP and ERP - Principles and procedures of record-keeping and reporting - Problem-solving skills - Familiarity with raw materials, production processes and quality control - Knowledge of Microsoft office: Outlook, Excel, and Word
