Job Description
- Analyze supply chain data and performance.
- Create the company’s supply chain strategy.
- Evaluate and report on KPIs.
- Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly.
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
- Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals.
- Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents).
- Support the merchandise department to increase the profitability of suppliers: costs vs. logistics rebates.
- Propose the yearly department budget and ensure respect for the approved budget.
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Polymer, Supply Chain Management, or other related fields.
- At least 5 years of related experience in the plastics in the retail industry.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Creative thinker, problem solver, independent personality with self-disciplined personality.
- Outstanding needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing skills.
- Fluent in English.
