Job Description

In Digikala we have an open position in our commercial planning ant reporting team. This position requires excellent analytical skills, retail or e-commerce business experience, and the ability to work well alone and with a team. This role is diverse and dynamic. The Mobile sales data analyst is responsible for sales forecasting, assortment planning, pricing suggestion, margin analysis and inventory control for our mobile business. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Managing & reporting daily/weekly/monthly/annual trade, providing analysis and producing actions plans • Work closely with the commercial planning and reporting manager and commercial vertical manager on the long-term strategies. • Providing both long and short-term sales forecasts for all categories within vertical that are driven by budgeted growth and marketing strategies. • Analyze trading patterns and understand the sales curve, reporting findings and identifying opportunities to further maximize sales and profitability. • Monitoring categories activity performance and Providing insight and data driven solution to improve activities. • Collaborate with promotion team, feeding into the ECRM strategy, email planning, segmentation and personalization from a stock and product perspective. • Benchmarking best practices and monitoring competitor’s activities. • Analyzing seasonal sales patterns, understanding key competitors and customer behavior • Communicate and execute product strategies that support category financial objectives, ensuring all promotions are reinforced through inventory management, and pricing. • Collaborating in forming strategic direction of the new category/sub-categories online • Planning for developing and expansion of new opportunities(Assortment gap analysis) • Initiatives for reaching the target and growth • Use sales/forecast trends to make build and inventory management recommendations.

Requirements

• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role • Strong communication, presentation skills • Ability to think critically and creatively • Very strong numerical and analytical skills - translate commercial initiatives into quantifiable measurable performance • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work efficiently and effectively within a collaborative, cross-functional environment • Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fluid, fast-paced team environment while meeting critical deadlines • Demonstrated strong project management and organizational skills • Experience of working in Mobile business • Knowledge of E-commerce industry is preferred • Ability to analyze varieties of data and identify market trends • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, plus the ability to quickly learn and work with the new systems and software
