Job Description
-Design, conduct and lead catalyst development for prototype and production team
-Handle and maintain various catalysts processing equipment
-Characterize catalyst and other products for critical properties through various techniques
-Analyze, interpret and summarize characterization data
-Support and interact with design, testing and characterization team.
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of, critically analyze and summarize relevant literature related to processing methods
-Support and interact with business development team for scale-up planning and operation.
-Troubleshoot instrument and production issues
-Responsible for research, planning, and implementing new programs and protocols into the company and overseeing the development of new projects
-Lead key projects with R&D to support business goals
-Develop new projects and solutions by working with company business units
-Monitor team metrics and objectives ensuring meeting of goals
-Document all phases of research and development
-Develop concepts, projects, and solutions by coordinating with production unit
-Understand customer expectations for to-be manufactured products
-Determine and execute improved technologies used by suppliers, competitors, and customers
-Support Director to hire and develop R&D personnel
-Establish project goals and priorities by collaborating with Marketing and Operations
-Transfer new technologies, products, and manufacturing processes into and out of the company
-Research, design and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment
-Develop concepts, products, and solutions by working with company business units
-Monitor team metrics and objectives ensuring meeting of goals
