Job Description

At Adro, the Agile and Project Management team is composed of members who fulfill multiple roles. Depending on a project's needs, our team members may take on the role of Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Project Manager, or a combination of the three. As a team, we embrace agile values and use project management tools and techniques. We believe in continuous improvement, adapting to change, and learning. We are looking for a passionate and articulate Agile Project Manager. You will be responsible for helping the teams you serve select, implement and customize the most appropriate agile or project management methodologies. You will help clarify goals and requirements, foster transparency, clear obstacles, highlight risks and assist in creating highly collaborative teams. You will orient your efforts toward delivering business value to our internal and external customers. The ideal candidate has deep experience as a project manager and as a scrum master and is comfortable achieving results working through influence rather than direct control of teams.

Requirements

Help teams select and adapt the most appropriate agile methodology Foster a sense of unity on teams with members from multiple departments: engineering, design, QA, documentation and product Run daily standup meetings and understand and remove obstacles Run sprint planning, release planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives Coach teams to properly define, slice and estimate workload Help teams commit to an appropriate amount of work per sprint Manage the cross-functional software programs from product roadmap to product delivery, covering a range of areas including software development and testing, human resources and hardware capacity requirement, co-innovation with internal and external partners and product delivery. In conjunction with product management, engineering teams and key business stakeholders, identify projects within the program, prioritize, scope, and define deliverables that support business goals. Define, drive and own the program schedule and ensure on-time delivery for the entire program Understand, identify and manage both technical and non-technical project dependencies and critical path within the program Provide hands-on program management and coaching during roadmap planning, analysis, design, development, testing, release, product launch and post-launch support Proactively manage changes in the project and program scope, identify, communicate and resolve potential risks/conflicts, and devise contingency plans. Position requirements: 4+ years experience as dedicated project managers in managing Online software development projects/programs, including full software development lifecycle from product requirements through implementation to product release and post-release support. Proven organization and delegation skills with an ability to drive execution of the product roadmap, own the schedule with a track record of delivering projects on time. Working knowledge and experience with agile methodology. Understands when a project schedule is needed and why it is critical to the success of a project Ability to facilitate and run effective, productive, engaging meetings
