Job Description
The expeditor is responsible for planning and performing expediting activities to ensure the timely delivery of documentation, materials, and equipment to meet project requirements.
Key duties include:
● Working within a project team environment and performing expediting activities to ensure the delivery of equipment, materials, services, and related documentation.
● Developing and maintaining status reports.
● Leading purchase order kick-off meetings.
● Initiating the close-out of purchase orders.
● Communicating with suppliers to resolve issues affecting a purchase order.
● Attending status meetings with clients, project management, and suppliers.
