Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Plan & Execute Comprehensive Well Intervention Programs
2. Provide Technical Supervision for a Wide Range of Interventions: The role demands direct supervision of specialized operations, including:
o Coiled Tubing Operations: Supervising asphalting removal, acidizing (in vertical and horizontal wells), fishing, milling, tubing cutting.
o Slickline Operations: Overseeing memory gauge setup, static and flowing surveys, gas lift valve changes (retrieval and installation), well drifting, PVT sampling, fishing, and completion running.
o Well Testing (WT) Operations: Supervising pre-acid and post-acid clean-out operations, as well as GOR testing.
o Stimulation Operations: Directly supervising acid washes and acid matrix jobs.
o Wireline Operations: Supervising perforation jobs (WCP, TCP), SNL, HPT operations, and PLT operations.
3. Ensure Wellbore Integrity & Safety: The engineer will be responsible for monitoring casing, tubing, wellhead, and downhole tools to identify risks and implement remediation in line with API/ISO standards. This includes enforcing QHSE and well-control procedures during all field activities to minimize risk and maintain operational safety.
4. Lead On-Site Teams & Manage Contractors: A key function is to provide field technical leadership, supervising on-site crews and service companies, resolving downhole complexities and equipment issues.
5. Report & Document: The candidate will compile daily and post-job reports, record operational data, maintain client deliverables, and contribute to incident root-cause analyses to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering or a relevant field.

- 5+ years of experience in well interventions, with specific expertise in the operations listed above.
