Job Description

POSITION SNAPSHOT Location: Tehran - Islamic Republic of Iran. Company: Nestlé Iran - Tehran Office; Full-Time. POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the coordination and implementation of compliance activities w.r.t Nestlé Instructions, the WHO Code, and local legislation and ensuring compliance with the FTSE4Good verification criteria for both NIN and WIN teams, as well as NIM. A DAY IN THE LIFE … ● Responsible to ensure compliance with WHO code, Nestlé policy and instructions, WCMS, and local legislation at the market level and actively monitoring WHO code and Nestlé policy and Instructions compliance in combination with all relevant local legal requirements and this under the guidance of the WHO code compliance manager. ● Responsible for reflecting the evolution of the legal framework in Iran into the WCMS accounting for the audit action plans and ensuring the closure of gaps identified by the FTSE self-assessment as well as by any NIA, NGA, or Bureau Veritas audits. ● Work closely with NiM training and development, sales training dept, and PDM in providing training for all employees (the three tiers of training: induction, intermediate and advanced). ● Monitor compliance of WHO code and local code in Iran, through medical field visits to hospitals and clinics, trade visits to pharmacies, supermarkets, hypermarkets, self-service and groceries, and visits to our distributors and warehouses. ● Responsible for taking immediate actions on reported violations, after agreement with the regional code compliance manager, and coordinating the actions with OPC management, medical field staff, and NiM sales to rectify them. ● Responsible for ensuring that actions are being taken by relevant internal stakeholders to influence third parties to comply with the WHO code and the Nestlé policy and instructions. Please consider that this position requires 30 to 50% time traveling.

Requirements

What will make you successful: ● At least 3 to 5 years of experience in dealing with compliance-related fields, with legal experience as a plus. ● Regional experience and travel extensively (50 to 70 parentage of time) in visiting regional markets. ● Managed independently under challenging or demanding market environments and political scenes to achieve and exceed goals. ● Field experience is required. ● Strong interpersonal skills. ● Courage and ability to influence with integrity. ● Strong organization and planning skills. ● High computer literacy. ● Knowledge of nutrition/pharmaceutical industry practices. ● Clear understanding of medical field force and marketing needs. ● Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, or Political Science is required; a Master's degree in Law, Finance, Auditing, or an MBA degree is considered a plus.
