Job Description

The market development expert is responsible for identifying and developing new market opportunities to expand the company's customer base in the network and security industry. The role requires researching potential markets, analyzing trends, and developing go-to-market plans that align with the organization's sales objectives. The focus of this position is on B2B sales, targeting enterprise organizations in industries such as oil and gas, banking and finance, and transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new market opportunities by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape in the network and security industry.
  • Develop go-to-market plans and strategies to meet sales targets in new markets for B2B customers in the enterprise sector.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to develop marketing campaigns and sales collateral to support market development initiatives.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in target markets, including industry associations, customers, and influencers.
  • Monitor and report on market trends, customer feedback, and sales metrics to inform market development strategy in the network and security industry.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop sales plans and support sales efforts in new markets.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine market development strategies to optimize performance and achieve sales targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • More than five years of experience in market development, preferably in the network and security industry.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute go-to-market plans and strategies for B2B sales in the enterprise sector.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and techniques in the network and security industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools.
  • Ability to travel occasionally as needed for business meetings or events.
