Conduct a comparative analysis of pharmaceuticals against existing drugs in the market, focusing on advantages, disadvantages, pricing, and insurance coverage.
Communicate with the Ministry of Health to obtain import policies (quantitative, currency, pricing).
Oversee the acquisition of necessary permits and approvals for order registration, import licenses, and customs clearance.
Negotiate and monitor requests for currency allocation in the Ministry of Health's currency system for review and approval.
Ensure the timely organization of meetings and committees related to currency issues within the Ministry of Health.
Supervise actions required for renewing and amending order registrations with the Ministry of Health.
Facilitate import permit acquisition with minimal documentation and extend relevant licenses as needed.
Follow up on meetings and pricing commission activities within the Ministry of Health, collaborating with financial units to provide appropriate feedback as necessary.
Engage in required interactions with the Food and Drug Organization and the Ministry of Health to facilitate smooth operations.
Explore reimbursement pathways and provide expert feedback on feasibility
Establish and maintain excellent professional contacts and relationships with KOLs, Patient Associations, Payors, and external MA consultants.
Travel and meet external stakeholders to facilitate reimbursement and patient treatment.
Requirements:
PharmD or a Master's degree in Medical/Paramedical or a similar field.
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and health insurance policies in Iran.
Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
Proficient in negotiation and contract management.
Ability to work collaboratively with various governmental organizations.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
2 to 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical market access.
Professional in English (flawless writing skills are essential) with excellent presentation skills.
Proven experience in market access proceedings, drafting of pricing dossiers, and interactions with payors.
